What the Client wanted:
Kall Kwik wanted a customer newsletter that would act as a value added offering to its clients via the distribution network of some 200 Kall Kwik centres.
Originally called
Business Bulletin, the publication was to carry business articles of interest to the owner director of small to medium sized enterprises (SME).
In 2005 the newsletter changed name to
D2D in a major redesign. We also oversaw this before the magazine was finally taken in-house in 2007.
Kall Kwik needed us to:
- Provide a business-like look which would appeal to franchisees as well as clients
- Ensure improved take up by franchisees
- Include up-to-date and relevant articles
- Achieve an eye catching and appealing design
- Make the project ‘punchy’ and informative
What we did:
- Project Management and Production of a quarterly magazine
- Writing, editing and proof reading
- Design and layout
- Photo research and editing
- Worked alongside Kall Kwik’s marketing department to:
- Agree on layout
- Deliver within an agreed date
- Managed several re-designs over a 10 year period.
What the outcomes were:
- The take up by franchisees increased from some 50 Kall Kwik centres to over 120. Thus, economies of scale were realised and costs cut.
- The magazine achieved a pass on rate of three, giving it a readership of some 200,000!
- So Kall Kwik’s profile was increased by a factor of four and its image as a business that could help other businesses was assured.
